Westhoughton Remembers

SUNDAY 13th. NOVEMBER, 13th. 2011.

A Remembrance Service was held at St. Bartholomew’s Parish Church, Westhoughton at 10.00 am and the church was completely full with people standing at the sides and at the back.
This was the largest congregation which had been seen at this service for many years.
It was followed by an Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at which many of the local organisations were represented and, at which, a wreath on behalf of West Lancashire Mark Masons was laid by W.Bro. Arthur Robinson.

A parade followed the service at the War Memorial when many members of the congregation returned to the Church to celebrate Holy Communion.
